Procede 11566 code - Angle of throttle valve - intake pipe underpressure - WHAT?

AKA the 2D2E code.

Can anyone tell me what the heck this code's about? I'm running Procede Rev II still with the 2-23 maps, stage 1, MT, stock car, on 91 octane. Latest firmware for those maps, version 5.

This is how Shiv had described it before:

So expect another map release within the next few day with that fix.

And then said that it shouldn't be popping up anymore as of the 2-10 maps? http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ighlight=11566

I've also noticed when the car's cold, in second or third gears, around 2000 to 3000 RPM, the acceleration's not smooth. Is that related to this code? I'd like to know, before I upgrade to the newest 5-15 maps, since I've been getting this code consistently for the last few months, and especially if it's the reason behind the cold engine acceleration hiccups I'm having. Since the 5-15 maps have auto clear, I would like it resolved first, rather than brushed under the rug and deleted...

That hidden code was solved a long time ago. So the current maps don't brush it under the rug. And you can turn off canclear in the user adjustable if you want. There is absolutely no reason not to run the current auto tune maps.

Shouldn't you be on vacation? Damn man, you're asking for a beating there...

Shiv, thanks for taking the time to reply even though you're on vacation! Tough to put aside something you love to do I'm sure!

I realize you said back with the 2-10 maps you thought you had fixed the issue (I even quoted you saying that in my post), but as I said, I've been on the 2-23 maps for a few months now, and have repeatedly had this code and cleared it, but it keeps coming back. So it clearly wasn't fixed. What is next then?

The other question I had was what was the impact of this code? You refer to the code being tripped in light cruise around 2400 RPM. That's right around where with a cold engine, I've been getting not very smooth acceleration. Are they related?

That code wasn't entirely eliminated in the 2-23. A few cars still tripped it. We figured it out shortly thereafter. Which is why I suggest updating to the 5-15 maps/fw. The cold engine hiccup was also addressed. It was a false bogfix trigger. Like I said, there is no reason not to run the current maps. The old maps were even removed from the download site.

That makes me feel much better... Thanks. Hated not knowing what the problem was with those cold engine hiccups and why I was still getting that code, and especially since I'd not read of others having that issue, was getting worried.

Just upgraded today and did like 10 pulls already, though oddly enough, my IC didn't change at all... it's still at 100%! I posted in the 5-15 thread about that.

I am still getting this 11566 code on the 11-25 maps (either map 0 or map 1). I have APS FMIC, AR oil cooler, AR catless DP's, AFE intake, so I assume either of those maps should be fine - although I'm in Denver and go up in the mountains frequently (5200 - 11,000 feet).

Any ideas what might cause this?

I just saw this code the other day, but I don't know what triggered it. I can't even remember what map I'm on! Been too damn busy and tired to log part throttle and around-town cruising. Robert/Vishnu suggested I look at AFRs bank 1 and 2, specifically deviation between banks 1 and 2 for worn/slow O2 sensors. Shiv replaced his O2s at 56k miles, I just turned 57k on a 7/2006 build 335.

I have been chasing down a low/part throttle hiccup under 2000RPM, and I'll have to log sometime this century to help track it down.
