Yep. Love them. Car came out the factory with them on so left em on. Look good.

Dont like the new white ones. Or modified white ones. Like the yellow look. They are there for a purpose.

The LED's do look much better I have to agree. So, do you drive with the LED's on when in the TTS?

Cars are more visible with lights on at all times.

Probably an EU directive.

they have daylight running in some european countries already (sweeden, germany), plus motorbikes usually have daytime lights too (but they need them for sure)

You shouldn't be driving imo if you can't see a car in daylight without its lights on.

Kind of yes, in bright light on clear days you're right.

But it's those dawn/dusk times or when sudden dark clouds come over, that's when lights-on can be the difference between seeing the car or not in a split second.

Judging by the many thousands of people who drive without lights on in bad weather / fog / low light etc i'd say fixed-on DRLs are a good thing. People seem to think that headlights are mainly to see by, when of course they are more important to be seen by in all but complete darkness.

Auto headlights are no good either as they don't turn on in fog or heavy spray etc as those are not low light conditions but reduced visibility conditions which the car can't judge for you. So to avoid us dim wits getting it wrong, just force the DRLs on all the time....

Not at all. I hate them because Chav's have made white look cheap due to sticking them on shitty cars.

Then you get people with 45-50k bimmers doing the same. Just looks gash.
