Removing water stains on upholstery

While tinting my car, the tint place stained the corners of the upholstery by the rear windshield. My regular tint place(that I should have went to- doh) told me they used too much water. They're bringing in a detailer to fix it at their expense.

Has anyone had any experience with this and if so, what's a good product? I'm going off the assumption this is a water stain.

Thanks

Thanks for the response Ninja. BTW, I love the stick figure fight.

This isn't leather. Its the upholstery on the ceiling (actually on the sides just to the left of seats) If you look at the center of your rear windshield and then look at the frame to the left and right, the upholstery there is what's stained. It looks like the guy flapped the tint from the windshield over the sides. He swears he didn't, but I can't see what else would cause it.

Honestly, I don't care what caused it, as long as it can be fixed. Three "professionals" told me its a water stain, so that's what I'll go with for now. Any ideas?

Oh! Wow how'd I miss that thinking of leather when I read "upholstery."

I would imagine that you could use a carpet cleaner on the roof interior... like 303 Cleaner and Spot Remover (http://www.topoftheline.com/303spotremover.html), Woolite... do a search on carpet cleaners but here's a thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18696

This thread suggests a glass foam cleaner and the OP there said it worked: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...carpet+cleaner
