Going to an auction soon, question

As the title says, as soon as I sell my current car, I'm going to go to Manheim auto auction to pick up a 335. The only problem is that I would only be willing to buy an LCI sedan with Sport and Navigation with either black or chestnut seats. Nothing else would really matter.

I have been searching Autotrader for a while, and it seems that LCI's with sport and I drive are quite difficult to come by. My question to you would be what do you think my chances would be of finding one at the auction? Any help would be appreciated.

it going to be pretty hard especially since the LCIs started coming in 2009 and with the exact interior color and options you want

most auction cars are gunna be lease return cars that the turn in dealer didn't want. and since what youare looking for is desireable the dealer will most likely keep the car and not send it to auction. and the LCI cars that come off lease and go to auction are still out on lease. typically for 36 months. So you might not see too many of them for a couple years.

nothing is impossible though. it's probability that's got ya

I guess it's all just luck then. My friend who has a dealer license showed me an 09 335i with 900 miles that sold for $37k last week at auction.

Seems unlikely to me too that you'd see a LCI 335i at an auction.

honestly, i'd think you can find the same car through a dealer, and probably for less than 37k. why not just go to a dealer, tell them what you want, and let them look around. i see you're in queens. im in whitestone. i got my car from competition BMW in smithtown. id definitely recommend them. good luck.

Garage List
2007 335i  [0.00]
My next door neighbor was a used car dealer, he went to the auctions in Vegas all the time. He either had a list of cars going to be sold or knew someone at the auction to tell him if a particular car was available. If you are looking for something that specific, I'd see if this was an option rather going to an auction not knowing what you wanted was available.
