Talking Picked up new E92 335i LCI!

Hi Guys

I just picked up my new E92 LCI a couple of days ago and have taken a few (non-pro) snaps around town which I thought I would share. Loving it to bits and a worthy replacement to my previous E90.

Cheers
Jay

Hey SBC

Thanks for the comments. I was just lucky to have spots open where there was no trees in the way - it was more of an issue avoiding swarms of wedding cars!

Hey Chappy

The new LED angel eyes are very bright - and very white. The photos dont actually illustrate the white light eminating from them very well. They really stand out much more than pre-LCI angel eyes.

When did you take the pics at the lighthouse? I'm around there and would've stopped to say hello had i seen the car.

Personally i rather like the pre-lci e92 angel eyes and the e90lci ones. They're noticeable but not as "in your face" as say.. Audi leds or hsv. IMO the hsv ones look tacky and apart from the A4 and R8 the audi ones arent that great either. At least BMW has the ring theme which looks better than a strip of LEDs. I guess the new LCI eyes take away the need for aftermarket ones too..?

I hope your white car didn't get lost in the sea of white wedding cars.

Beautiful car and nice to see the first LCI on this forum for Australia. When did you order the car and can you let us know what interior you went with? I'm keen to see pics of oyster and bamboo anthracite trim as that is what I've ordered...

Great looking car. I'm loving the LCI M-sport kit especially in Alpine white.

The tint looks excellent. I'm guessing it is the same 3M 35% film the dealer put on my AW E90. If you get the factory tint, the front and rear tints would have been mismatched according to Euro regs.

Alpine White! My favourite!

I didn't realise the LCI's were out yet, love it!

Hi Gobobbie

I placed the order in the beginning of Feb to get it slotted in to the March production run. I was hanging out for the LCI and asked the dealer to let me know as soon as it was possible to place an order. I went for the Dakota Black Leather and Brushed Aluminum trim. I had the same in my E90, so in many ways the interior feels very familiar now. Would also like to see pics of that colour / trim combination - sounds nice!

Cheers

Hi John

Thanks mate, you are right it is the 3M 35% film. I think the darker tint works well with AW. I was told the factory tint is not that dark.

Does anyone know where to get those eyelid stickers??? My E92 model is 2009, which does not have those front eyelids, would love to get some.

Mine looks exactly the same, except it's not white.. Looks good though

That's the LCI headlights which are not compatible with the pre-LCI models.

They aren't eyelids, but rather part of the headlight cover it appears. It also looks like they light up?
