320d Performace Exhaust

HI ..

Does anybody know if you can get a performance exhaust for a 2009 E92 Coupe 320D.
Ive seen a video on youtude for a Bluewave I think .. But cant find a uk supplier.

Looking for a exhaust that will give more power and a more sporty note if thats possible ...

Thanks

Martin

I've just put a back box on from MV Sport Tuning. Very pretty, well made in stainless, good fit. Don't know how much of a gain it gives but the car feels a bit smoother. Was a doddle to fit. Don't have pics yet but will get some over the weekend.

BTW, when you take the back box off and start the car (to clear the cutting scrap) it will sound exactly the same as it does with the back box on!

The new box gives more of a rumble and is unobtrusive in the cabin.

I had the MV sport box on my old 320d E90 and it was very good quality and looked brilliant once fitted.

Sounded pretty good too

getting under and lining it up was the awkward bit. I reversed the car onto two scaffolding planks laid flat then had enough clearance to get my trolley jack under the rear jack point.
Laid the box under the original, didn't look like the bend was at all correct but carried on. Lined up the joint just in front of the rear wishbone and marked it, then came back 20mm toward the rear box.
Cut it with a 4" grinder and a metal cutting blade which got 90% of the way through then used a junior hacksaw with a new blade ( that was tough going!) to finish. Removed the old box.
There's a sleeve which is a pretty tight fit over the original pipe which needs filed after cutting to smooth it first.
I started the engine to blow out any cutting swarf and also ran an old rag up to make sure.
Then it's a quick job to offer the new box up and tighten the supplied clamps.

I'll get you some pics over the weekend to let you see.

EDIT: Here you go
