considering that the manuals are a pain to find....low to mid 30's seems reasonable if certified

thanks guys, I'm going to see it tomorrow.
Would you guys even consider this car if it has had HPFP symptoms? Specifically the long Long crank? I'm not sure if the FP has been replaced yet. |

The Galves trade-in (wholesale) value of a 2008 E92 335i with 6MT, Sport Package, Leather Trim, iDrive/navigation, and 18k miles is:
$28,050 + $1,500 (estimate) to recondition the vehicle. + $2,000 (estimate) for the 6yr/100k mile BMW CPO warranty. + dealer overhead. + dealer profit. = $ ________ IMO, $34,500 (or less) would be a fair price for that car.

These options add $0 to the wholesale value...

I think location makes a big difference. I just purchased my 2008 E92 blk on saddle brown 17k miles, prem, sports, nav, comfort, sat,Automatic. Wholesale for $31500. Blackbook had that car in Excellent condition for $32500 wholesale. I purchased from Manhiem in NM. Local Manhiem in PA or VA would have had that car for at least $33k, the market is really hot right now in this area for used E92's. |

The invoice price on a brand new 2010 E92 335i with those same options is: $45,845 - $2,500 factory dealer incentive = $43,345. Why would anyone spend “$38k-$40k” on a 2-year-old used car when they can get a brand new 2010 for around $44k right now?

Did you happen to pick it up? I'm in the LA area and have been actively looking for a CPO 335i Coupe/Convt. One in the area is an 07 Convt with 33k miles and pretty much fully loaded, but automatic. Asking price is $38,775. Is it safe to assume you can take around 6k off the list price? There's also a 07 Coupe I'm looking at with 30k miles, but asking price is $34,995.

I guess my point is to find a different salesperson and/or dealership if you don’t like the one you’re dealing with. Inquiring at 4 different dealerships with 5 salespeople each = 20 potentially different deals (and personalities).

Currently with E92's that are model year 2008, we are seeing an average sell point of around $34k-$35k in the DC market for a non CPO. The average CPO 08 is going for around $37-$38k. 2007 model year E92's that are non CPO are selling for significantly less $26K-$29K given package and mileage, CPO 07's are going for around $29K-$33k. 09 model year E92's are selling in the low to mid 40's. I'm not too sure of Brand New sales but Invoice you listed for a fully loaded E92 is not $43k. I think its closer to $48k. |
