Agreed. I love Apple products and still like my iPhone, but Android seems so much more...grown up than iPhone OS.

I agree. I was gonna wait to see if that iPhone was gonna come to Verizon but I think I may jump on the Incredible or possibly wait for the Shadow to come out.

Well, WWDC is Monday so we'll know what new features it's getting then. I just prefer a physical keyboard, and the Droid has one. That + OC @ 1.1 GHz...works for me.

I know, I can't wait to hear about all the new stuff. You can overclock at 1.1 GHz? Damn, I'm impressed. The Shadow is basically the Droid 2. It has the keyboard like the regular Droid, 8 MP camera and the Snapdragon processor. I'm kinda excited for it.

I'll have to look it up. I'm not sure how much the Snapdragon can be overclocked...the Droid's is 550 MHz stock but lots of people take it up to 1.3GHz without frying it.

FroYo (Android 2.2) really sped up my Droid...benchmark is in excess of twice as many megaflops (funny word

) as compared to 2.1.

I really would like to jump on the android phones. I just need to wait and see what comes out.

The Incredible has the Snapdragon but it's back ordered for the next 3 weeks. The EVO has it too but it's only on Sprint.

I heard 2.2 is a solid update.

I like the idea of having a larger screen ala EVO. Sprint....I don't have any experience with them. Where I live, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint all have adequate coverage. I can only personally speak of ATT and Verizon.

2.2 is incredibly fast, and I'm not even using an official release. As we speak, a full episode of Family Guy is playing on Hulu on my phone, with no lag whatsoever and perfect sound quality. How cool is that?

Well, I'm not sure what they have overclocked that processor to. The Droid's processor is unique in that we can double its speed without frying it. I'll take a look and see what I can find
