I wonder if its related to your other thread entitled "my E90 smells like sh*t on the inside". You almost had an accident while driving too fast in the rain, have a sh*t smelling interior (your words, not mine) and stains on the seats. You should really take better care of your car or its going to be trashed before its reaches one year old.

BTW - for the stains
There are many threads about stains on leatherette. Most are probably in the detailers area of the forum. Do a search and you will have many answers.

I'm sure you think you do, but you're not helping yourself or your credibility with these posts. So far this year you've....

1) Had a hood stuck and no one at the BMW dealer could figure out how to open it.
2) Burned through tires by 8000 miles
3) Got pulled over by a white Volvo "cop" car.
4) Almost crashed on a wet road

and now you're telling us that your seats are stained and your car smells like shit. For all this to happen in less than 4 months to one person means that either you're one of the most unlucky people walking the face of the earth or your car isn't the only thing that smells like shit.

Sorry but I'm just calling it like I see it.

did u spill anything? coffee? tea? Do u smoke in ur car? sometimes leather can and other cloths like the head liner can stain from smoke. Also if a hot ember flies into the back seat it can leave marks too. This post was quite entertaining btw.

again, I can't argue with this man here

and that smell in your car, I'm not kidding here, but it can be due to you or the people you carry, if you get in your car all sweaty and smelly day in, day out, eventually the interior soaks up the 'old smell' that you talk about, especially the carpet. For example, I know friends that go workout at the gym, then get into their car without taking a shower first, their car smells like ass or shit as you put it

Hrm, normally I have some sort of reply that would outline how to take care of the problem, but I think in this case you need to take it to a pro. Have the leather professionally cleaned and conditioned, have the carpets and headliner steamed and all the vinyl/rubber/plastic cleaned and dressed then maintain it properly from here on out.

If you just want to deal with the leather itself grab some leatherette pristine clean and zaino Z10 leather in a bottle; the cleaner is industrial grade and with some rubbing will take out almost any stain that can be taken out. The conditioner smells nice, so hopefully it, uh...makes your car smell better (though I think you probably need a steam clean).

the leather is probably from a sick cow... or it's "love stains".

Just started working out again in the mornings. My gym is a 5 min ride from my house. I do interval cardio and build up a nice sweat. I have a 2007 335i with that wonderful new car smell. Should I get seat covers or put down towels to avoid sweat getting into the seat? I never had a problem with other leather seats(smelly interior). I don't want my new car smell turning into "old ass" as OP's car has.
