Noise on wheels on highway
I am not quite sure but at around 130-140km/hr, I find that there is a noise, although slight, that seems to come from the car. It is not the engine as removing the pedal from the gas does not change the sound. Rather it makes it more at these speeds than at around 120km.
Is it the summer run flat tires? Wear? It almost sounds like my old civic when I would reach higher speeds, like a rumbling sound. It's hard to describe. It is not loud but makes me feel I'm in a car than is over 10 years old. Not experienced this sound on my car before, especially at these speeds. Isn't this what BMW is all about, having a smooth ride whether you are traveling at 120 or 150? Any ideas? I don't think it involves alignment as the steering wheel does not vibrate. |
