Lease Turn-In is soon approaching...

Its about that time... I am a little over a month away from lease Turn In so I need some advise if anyone has a momement or two.

07' 335i - 2dr Coupe
31k Miles
Auto
Cold Weather
Premium
Sport
CA
PDC
Nav
HD/Sat

Res - $31XXX

If I stick it out I received these offers:

Option #1
CPO
Selling Price: $35050 + Tax/Tag/Smog/etc = $38XXX

Option #2 (This option seems to be out the window)
Non-CPO
Selling Price: $35356 + Tax/Tag/Smog/etc = $39XXX

Option #3
I have also been given the option to purchase at the Residual (Third Party) and get it @ that price and they will waive the remaining payments (2 payments I gather).

With Option 2 gone my main question is, does anyone have any idea how much it would be to CPO or extend the warranty if I went with option #3 (which seems to be the best) considering the rates out of Credit Unions, etc. seem to be low enough to compete with BMW's offered rates.

Any and all comments, opions, rantings and ravings are appreciated at this point.

Buy a Warranty from 3rd Party.... 150 a month or so for a Full warranty, and you can take it to ANY shop you want as much as you want.

Check it out.

I'd second that post...

WarrantyDirect.com sells warranty coverage for terms of up 6 years / 100K (total mileage). In your case that'd be coverage for an additional 70K miles.

Last time I checked (pure memory) total cost was around $5,000 for Highest Tier coverage which included rental and unlimited towing coverage as well. Usually this coverage is more comprehensive than standard CPO coverage as well.

Option #3 combined with a third party warranty seems to be the best move.
