E90 Pre vs LCI Hood Fitment
Is it possible to order a pre-LCI Vorsteiner (or any other brand for that matter) carbon fiber hood and shave off the kidney grille lip portion to make it fit the LCI E90?
Are there any other structural differences (mounting points, fitment)?

im gonna say cutting up a carbon fibre hood isnt your best option. Your best bet is to just wait for Vorsteiner to make the LCI hood.

I'm talking about the dry vacuum woven plastic one where only the vents are carbon fiber. Surely, the plastic can be wire-sawed or dremeled? The question I'm asking here is that whether or not there are other fitment changes in the pre vs post LCI. If the kidney grille lip portion is the sole difference, then I'm not worried about the cutting...
