Has anyone installed exhaust on rhino ramps?

I am thinking of installing my AE performance exhaust by myself in my parking spot. I know that there are some people who have done DIY install on downpipes using rhino ramps, but has anyone installed complete catback using rhino ramps?

Thanks.

By yourself? That would probably be one helluva task.

My only concern is being able to raise the car high enough to get under there. Otherwise installing the exhaust will be pretty simple actually. There is nothing really THAT heavy.

i installed my downpipes and exhaust on ramps...but when i say ramps....i mean i had the front on ramps and the rear jacked up on jackstands. do you just intend to back up onto ramps and do it that way? if so i'm not really sure that would give you enough room towards the front of the car where the downpipes and exhaust meet. i'm a fairly small guy...and it was a pretty tight fit for me.

Drive up the car on the ramps for the front. Then use your trusty jack and jack up the entire rear using the rear jack point.

Those two combined will give you plenty of clearance to get this job done.

Install on Rhino ramps? Is there any other way? lol.
I've probably done the install on Rhino ramps about 5 times.

The one-piece stock exhaust weighs like a rhino, and difficult to manage by yourself.

Yeah, the intent is to back up the car on rhino ramps and then lift the front up on jackstands. After that its just patience. The good thing about it is that I don't really need the car to go anywhere. I bike to work and I can leave things in a semi assembled state over night easily since I have a gated parking spot.

So should I get the 8,000 lbs or the 12,000 lbs ramps?

I got the 12,000 lb ramps because I think the 8,000 lb ones aren't wide enough for our tires.

Maximum tire widths:
8,000 lb: 7.5 inches
12,000 lb: 9.5 inches

How are you going to align it without two people?

I'll figure out a way. My GF is always eager to learn how to wrench around the car so I think I might enlist her help.

its not bad at all, unless you dont feel comfortable in tight spaces, your face will be very familiar with the undercarriage of your car

Not bad at all just backing the rear up on ramps. No major need to raise the front.

Yo, Mike! We already met at the paintball meet that Seth organized. I'd appreciate borrowing a decent floor jack. I have only one and it is a total pain.

it helps to have a second person, it's a big heavy piece so the extra hands when you drop it out is nice
