E92 Smoked Tail lights

Looking for pictures of E92 DARK Smoked and Light Smoked tail lights on a car preferably a sparkling graphite. I'm trying to figure out how dark I want to go.

I am thinking of doing this myself, but I hate the "tabs" you can see on the pre-cut film. Is there a better way to light smoke the tailights so it is seamless without painting them?

If you heat and stretch tint over the back lights you can choose how dark or light you want. It works, had mine for 8 months and no problems.

Were you able to wrap it where the seams are not in view?

I prefer light smoke, it's a cleaner look IMO.

Yeah, the light smoke looks great. Is it easy to install? After you place the film can you lift and reapply if you mess up the first time? OR is it a one shot thing?

If you're looking for the Lamin-x Tailight protective/tint films you have quite a few choices in terms of the color. Lamin-x products come pre-cut to the shape of either the headlight, foglight, or tail light for the perfect fit and ease of install. I personally would stick with the tint version as it looks best!

Hmmm... I've got a Sapphire Black, and it's debadged. I wonder if the darker tints would look too dark and have no contrast from the rest of the rear, as I would tint the whole tail-light (unlike the M3 above who left the lower strip clear). I was thinking the tail-lights might blend in too much with the body in that case, all black, and not look good...

Which should I get?

Depends on the brand but the dark smoke we sell is about 5% while light smoke is closer to 20%.
