First ticket what best online traffic school and what to do?
I just recieved my first traffic ticket for not making a complete stop at a stop sign. Since I am new to all of this I am not sure exactly what I have to do. The officer told me that I needed to appear at the court on a specific date. Do you guys by any chance know how much it is for not stopping completely at a stop sign? Is my insurance going to go up? I am 22 years old and this is my first ticket. Also, I heard that I will receive one point on my record and to take it off I need to go to traffic school. I heard about some online traffic schools that are cheap, easy, and fast are they reliable and if so do you guys have any references to those sites. Well, any input would be great. Thanks
By the way I got the ticket in chino hills which is in the san bernardino county |

Gotaticket.com. Taken the online course multiple times for numerous family members and it was super easy. Just copy paste all the courses in a word document and then take the tests. Control+F = all the answers.

Well on the site it now says 9.95 but I think I remember I paid something around 20. Maybe I expedited shipping for the documents to the court..

You don't really need to go to court. The ticket will come in the mail in about a week or 2. Then you will go online and pay the ticket with the extra fee to be eligible to go to traffic school. The you will complete the online traffic school and they will send it to the court for you, and you are done. Unless you want to fight the ticket, in which you go to court and declare yourself not guilty and they will arrange a court date for you to return with the officer.

Correct... You'll get it in the mail, pay it, then go online to ticket school like the one I linked below, do that, and the place that I linked you too will send it to the courts for you: www.goodbyeticket.com I'm not an endorser of this website... It just took me 20 minutes of sitting at the computer to finish it... |

One of my friends went through an online school that required you to view some 8 hours worth of traffic episodes... so he just clicked play on his laptop for each one and had the laptop next to him while he played the PS3....

haha the 8 hours online requirement is BS..
www.gototrafficschool.com there are like 9 or 10 sections, you read the summary and take the quizzes. The trick is to have 2 tabs open on your browser. One for the summary (reading part) and one for the actual quizes. So for the quiz, you just use ctrl+f to find the answer!!! You can do this for the final exam too at the end. This whole thing took me a grand total of 45 minutes max, while Facebook chatting simultaneously.

Well yeah, you can probably do that one in 25 minutes too, but I was multitasking (chatting, itunes, streaming the lakers game, etc, you know the deal). The best part is, the program mails the certificate to your court for you, and you never have to actually go to court.
But yeah, I'm just giving you my personal experience. Choose the one that best fits for you. Either way, you shouldn't have to spend anywhere close to 8 hours to finish.

Actually, reading the posts above me. If one of the sites actually cost 9.95 you should go with that one. I think mine was more like 20 something dollars. a little over 30 with expedited shipping to the court

No it won't go on your record if you complete the traffic school, if this is your first offense. The stop sign ticket is going to be ~200 bucks without the traffic school fees.

When I got a ticket that's what I did, but overall it was closer to 3 hours. It sucked.

About pricing, what companies do is advertise a very low price and when you enroll you end up paying 20+ dollars for the course... Also, everything depends on what county you got the ticket in... If it was L.A. then you have to spend a min 400 minutes taking the course(county law) some counties also require identity verification... So just pm me if you have any questions and I can give you my direct line at the office.
If any one else needs traffic school let me know! My company started the online traffic school industry back in 1996!
