Still Tick when letting off gas after actuators replaced? Normal?
Hey guys I just picked up my car from BMW. It was time for the 30k mile service and my car had wastegate tick or rattle for a while and I got them to fix that. Now when I just drive back I can hear it a lot more faint but can still kind of hear it when you rev to 3500 and let off. Is this normal or do I need them to do more? Like I said it is a lot more muted then it was but I can still here "tick" when I rev to 3500 and let off gas?

How can it be normal if it didn't tick before and now it does? They said they replaced the wastegates but I am guessing they meant the actuator arms and it made it less noticeable but still there-what would u guys do?

I would bring it back. I thought I read somewhere in a SIB that if there was still rattling after they have done the software update and actuator replacement, that the next step was opening a PUMA to have the turbos replaced. Can't remember where I saw that tho.
