Change to Black Front Grille???
I have a 2010 LCI E90 in Black Saphire with Oyster Leather.
(Prem, Sport, Auto , and more...) I cant decide to change the chrome grill to the gloss black grill?? Bc the sports pkg, theres no chrome on the car like my 08 e90. Im 50/50, and would anyone want my stock grills? Thanks! |

I put the OEM gloss black grills on my TiAg E92 and I love them. I'm not a huge fan of the flat black and the gloss still gives the car a classy look.

My E90 is almost the same as yours (mine is monaco blue), and I just replaced my chrome grill with the glossy black performance grill from Tischer. It complements the shadow line perfectly.

Anything but chrome! I have a SG LCI E90 and I painted mine matte black. I actually prefer the flat look but to each his own. You can buy them from JLevi...but I just sanded mine down with 400 grit automotive sandpaper, bought a can of dupli-color adhesion promoter (like a primer that helps the paint stick better), and then put a few coats of SEM trim paint (have to buy it from a body shop) and it looks pisser.
My only complaint is since I wanted the matte look I didn't use a clearcoat, so I will have to hit them with another coat of paint from time to time but that's not a big deal. (Or if I really get sick of it I'll just buy the grilles from JLevi!) OP, IMO don't waste your money on the painted grilles. (Search the forum and find a pic...I think someone recently posted one for SGM.) The black ones look sick!
