Apparently these dudes were hunting the Lion and it made a last ditch effort to take on the hunters. Brave Lion.

He was in his own habitat minding his own business, what do you expect from the most brave animal to do when its cornered, it attacks and that is why it is considered king. Shit what would you do if you were getting hunted by people and had no where to go and it was either die or try to fight to save your life

That was a lucky shot. If he was a marksman he would have taken the shot when he had the initiative from a longer distance.

I'm against sport hunting as well. I'm not sure about lions, but cape buffalo that are shot in Africa are very often fed to locals. I'm all for that.

My sentiments echo those of several other posters in this thread. If you're going to consume the animal after killing it, then I'm fine with that. Killing animals for it's own sake is a waste of life. Ironically, cats are one of the only other species that hunt purely for sport.

I wish 3 more of them had popped out and ate the whole group haha, male lions only eat like once a week and they eat A LOT when they do, they could of ate the whole crew and lived happy for a week
