6-16 Maps + 110 Octane :D!!
Just put a half a tank of 110 in my stage 3, - intercooler (getting one soon!) Wow this thing pulls like an animal! Pulls very strong all the way to redline! 4th gearv pulls just as hard as 3rd! I encourage all who have not tried it to run some race gas and see the difference. Torque is awesome and auto tune is performing excellent based on my logs!! Procede is just an amazing tune! Looking forward to heading to the track very soon

I am very curious about this auto tune thing. I really would like to see how it would work on a fully modded car at the track: on pump, pump +meth, 110, and 110+meth. Anyone willing to do this test for me and please be fully modded.
Also will it adapt properly for no2 or is there other work required?

think there is any benefit of 105/110 octane over 100? I can easily get 100 octane at the pump around here but i'll have to search for some 105/110 octane barrels and then tug it around which is kind of a hassle

Well of course there is a benefit of higher octane, but 100 will still benefit greatly over pump 91/93.

i guess what i'm asking is whether its worth it to get 105/110 octane over 100 since it's a little bit of a hassle...

I guess it all depends on your goals. There really isn't a right/wrong answer for this type of question. If you are looking to go as fast as possible and have the tuning capabilities to correct for the added octane then yes its worth the hassle.

You guys know anything over 104 octane is leaded which can be detrimental to sensors.
Just want to forewarn people. I'd stick to 104 or less octane unless your going for "world records" or have a thick wallet for o2 sensors/cats etc |

Your o2 sensors will go bad any where between 5 miles and never. I have run 30+gallons with no issues

You must have one of those "factory freaks" or maybe the DTM gods have blessed your o2 sensors with some fairy dust that makes them resistant to lead.

My PSI limit was at 16 but in my logs i was seeing around 15.6 with ignition correction at 0. This car was pulling like a monster about 65 degrees outside cloudy no sun.
Leaded race fuel is really tough on cars with Cats, I am catless and its not nearly as bad on the o2's. I ran 25 30 tanks of race gas in my Stealth TT and the wideband sesnors looked fine, i Checked them occasionally and they weren't corroded like that. I really need an upgraded IC i know it will make the world of difference. |
