My Dyno Results: 400 Club!

It's official, I am a member of the 400 rwhp club. Following are my mods:

JB3 2.0
AMS FMIC
AR 3" C@tless DPs
BMS DCI
BMW Performance Exhaust

I conducted several runs both on pump gas and race gas. Graphs below.

I am extremely satisfied with the results. The car was running extremely well. Next up for me, heading to the track with seats out and DRs on for a serious run at 11s.

Meth will also be in my future.

Good numbers, why is map 11 lover than map10? Not enough octane??

Hard to say, I only did one pull on map 11 so it could be that the car did not adjust. Lost some toque but did gain 2 whp from 11. Map 10 was a strong map for me.

Irishace - congrats!!

onefastman - it is possible to get lower numbers on higher maps when the map is designed for a high level of mods/octane. Otherwise, everyone will just run map 10000.

The challenge is if you DON'T hit 11's with DRs in that setup Nice numbers.

Awesome numbers man! thanks for sharing! Congrats.

With such little adaption those are some GREAT numbers. Im sure if you did some datalogging and sent them over to T, he could have def gained you some nice HP on a custom Map1.

Hehe ya, you are right. A 1.7 60' and I should be there, I have plenty of power now.

Good luck man, I got all the bolt-ons including meth with stock exhaust and need to see what I'd throw on the dyno now.

You should hit 415-420 without much issue on 94 Octane + gas. Post up your results when you get them!

How do you like it so far? I'm on the fence - does it change "driveability" on pump?

It is a bit more rough on pump gas. I have noticed a bit more of an aggressive idle but it certainly does its job up high. I like it, gives the car more of an edge.

Hehe, thanks Mike. The car was running like a horse. John was was running a timing scan with the BT tool and it returned 13-14 timing on the map 11 run. My rix guage returned a max boost value of 17.8 psi.

I am now actively reading up and feverishly researching a meth setup that suits my tastes. I still want to do one more solid pass on the drag strip without it using my DRs and seats out. Needless to say I will be getting meth, the question only remains when.

Awesome..

My suggestion would be the Coolingmist VC-2 kit with the new CM7 super atomizing nozzle. Just installed mine and my butt can tell the difference. Coolingmist has done a great job with it.

I will shoot you a PM, I would love to drop by and see the setup sometime. I want a stealth setup that uses the windershield wiper tank. Talk soon.
