Is this a decent deal for a lease ??
Hi evveryone, I am brand new to e90 post and I would like to know if I'm getting a good deal on a lease.
I have a 2006 325xi with 21K miles, premium and cold weather package, blak on black. The car still look new and have 4 new tires on. I finance that car and still owe $21500 on it. I want to trade it in for a 335 coupe. At the dealer I have the offer to get a 2011 335 xdrive coupe auto w/premium package, navigation, heating seat and ipod conect. I want to lease for 36/m and 10K/year. I would have to put $4650 upfront (including firt month) and then pay $719/month. Is this a good deal ?? any input would be welcome, Thank you |

getting a lease from a dealer is COMPLETE rape. You are in New York, I can recommend you to a leasing company which got me an 10' 335i for 550 a month 0 DOWN, JUST INCEPTIONS.
The new coupe is obviously going to cost more, but shouldnt be that high in price. I can get you that same deal or BETTER, with thousands LESS down. Too high, please do not lease from the dealer, with a leasing company you get BETTER rates, the car actually comes straight from the same dealers you are talking with, and you could obviously bring your car to them for service. Pass on this deal, and go to a leasing company. |

Comparing lease deals is pointless if you don't take into account residuals/ money factors, since those are the more important key facts.
But judging by the high numbers, they're rolling in your negative equity (my guess is ~$5k....you owe $21,5 and it's probably worth in the neighborhood of $16k, maybe less). My suggestion to you is to sell your car privately and then look into leasing a new car. Just my .02 |
