Exhaust recommendations for 335i

Peeps,

Been a long while since I posted on the forum... guess could still be regarded as new here...

But looking to purchase a new exhaust system for my 335i... so was wondering what are your recommendations??

Want something definitely louder than my stock but don't necessarily want people to know I'm coming 10 blocks away....

Many thanks

if you don't want sth too loud and don't mind some performance gain, I'd say go for akrapovic. They might be a bit on the pricey side, but just by looking at one you'd know where your money went!

Thought about Bastuck... seems to come highly recommended by quite a few people... all the research isn't gonna help until I hear them I guess...

there are more than a few options out there.

Rear axle-back system:
1. Bastuck
2. Akrapovic Slip on
3. Eisenmann

the Akrapovic slip on is very mild, suited for those that want a change in tone but no change in volume. the Bastuck is a little bit louder than the Akrapovic and has one of the nicest change in tones. It has no drone. For more aggressive tone, the Bastuck + secondary cat delete pipe option is one of the most popular set ups.

Axle back + mid pipe:
1. Arqray
2. Magnaflow

The Arqray system is available in both the 2tip and 4 tip options. Also, now available in a nice and aggressive US sound version.
Magnaflow Touring version has very little to no drone and a great change in tone at a great price (~$1K)

^this is the JASMA (japan street legal system). The us sound is a little more aggressive.

Full bolt on cat-back system:
1. Akrapovic Evolution
2. HKS full system
3. Supersprint (also available in segments)

Full system without drone, i highly recommend the Akrapovic. Agreessive: recommend the HKS. If you want aggressive without the 102mm tip of the HKS, go with the Supersprint full system.

Akrapovic Evo

HKS Full SS
