2nd Exterior Lights Mod

Just finish swap out the Corner Lights.

For those of you follow my thread on Angel Eyes... this is another critical mod to fix those ugly yellow lights.

So We got the angel eyes swap out.. to whiter color.. what else is yellow?

If you ever drive in the night.. and stuck in traffic.. like me... i notice.. there is this darn yellow light turning on and off....when you make turn or steer...

Ooh.. crap.. darn cornering light... Also refer to as the inner projecter light... where the E92's inner angel lit up the most.

Those inner projecter light turn on and off base on the degree of the wheel.. when its over 15 degree.. it lit up based on the side ur car is going.. If you turn your wheel 15 degree to the left.. the left inner projecter is going to lit up. Dang... yellow light... JUST finish getting rid of the darn yellow on Angel.. and now.. when u turn.. ugly yellow

so here is what i did.
simple and cheap mod.

buy a set of nice H3 bulb... (i got MTEC to match to my angel) $30

follow the same instruction on swapping angel...

you should be able to find the H3 bulb.. swap them out.. and you are done...

No ERROR at all... if you stick with stock 55watt.

First Picture is the driver side corner light lit

Second picture is the passanger corner light lit.

Although my Mtec did not match up to the color of hid.. but u can see that it match to the color of Angel..

I don't know if it's the picture quality, but it seems that you've swapped everything in your headlight to make it super-bright that it's just a blob of bright light, there's no definitions anymore, i.e. before you can clearly see the angels surrounding the head lamps

LOL.. its a blur coz.. i am no photagrapher.. and my camera refuse to get a clear focus.. into shinny head light.

i thought u actually fixed the turn signal yellow....in fact i think you have changed the DRL's yellow to white, right? cause im kinda lost as to which yellow you changed

To see what i did...

Start ur E92... turn on the lights... turn your steering wheel at least half a turn...

You will see one side of the inner projector lights up. That is the bulb i change.

E92's got 4 projector head lamps?
on my E90, the two outer lamps are HID projector, and the inner two are halogen reflector lamps.

Very nice--try to get some that are a little better focused!! Then you will be able to "see the definition" a little better. Nice mods!

Good job. I don't have that on the E90. E90 uses inner reflector for DRL, but since the DRL on the E92 is now angel eyes, this makes use of that refector. Now I get it!

There is no cornering light on the E90, just E92.

I tried to get this light to come on, but turning the wheel all the way to the left, but it did not come on. i have a MT which obviously was not in gear--do you think the car must be moving in order for the light to activate?

An iteresting note. Mine works when turning the wheel, but also if you put the car in reverse both come on! Now I have to change these out to something more white!

I tried to get them to come on a few different times, but no dice. Wonder why?
