Surprised you bought these springs if you were worried about compromising the ride quality of your car. Eibach's, purely for springs, probably have the best compromise for the e92 and when i fitted my on it actually improved the ride quality. The car had a less 'bouncy' feel to it, if that makes sense, on normal driving. However, H&R are not meant to be far off the feel of the eibach's and therefore would probably improve your ride quality unless you purchased the race versions so i would just fit them.

No i didn't put the H&R in my car. Was a decision between H&R and eibach's. I found out that the H&R would lower the car slightly more than the eibach's, however, would be very slightly less comfortable than the eibach's, which is probably due to the more mm drop the H&R would give.
However, as I mentioned the eibach's are way better, i find personally, than the stock springs and the H&R's are meant to be only very slightly more harsh, therefore i don't think you will have a problem with the ride quality if you had your springs installed. I think that the H&R are more popular in the US than the eibachs and i don't hear complaints regarding the H&R springs from those that have installed it. |
