Newbie - 325iA or 323iA LCI
Hi all,
I'm new here and being struggling for weeks. You know recently BMWHK is promoting their last stock of 325iA cabrio with almost 20% discount off which it is competing with the new 323iA cabrio LCI. For the new 323iA cabrio LCI, it comes with GPS while old 325iA comes with more power. Any comments for my choice? |

hi, Same experience for me too. The discount is more than 20% if u add up options in the stock, it's pretty attractive offer. I ordered my E92 325i at the end

definitely go for E93 325 if you are attracted by the 20% discount. power should not be a critical issue as not a big different between 323 and 325, esp. you are supposed to enjoy the ride with open roof rather than driving aggressively in a cabrio.

If power is not the key point, LCI looks better.

Well 20% is a pretty significant discount.
If the fact its a pre-LCI doesn't bother you then definitely the 325. I suppose also ask yourself the fact... do you really need/use GPS?? I know its a good gadget to have over an after market one as it's integrated. But I previously had GPS in my cars but I personally found I hardly used them. |

Thanks all.
Personally, I can drive without a GPS and I believe it's more fun to ride a 218hp than 190hp (tho just 28hp more ^^). Since new 323iA LCI comes with GPS and I suppose it built in with iDrive too, that's something bothering me as I found the cockpit looks cool with iDrive! Can you folks comment if iDrive is a MUST? Thanks in advance. |

I would go for the 325i because of discount and bigger engine. I personally don't think i-drive is that necessary, but I would be happy if my car has comfort entry, it's a stupid design to put the key hole on the left hand side and press the button to start the engine, you are just doing an extra work to start the car. I prefer the old fashion key instead if there's no keyless go function.

Thanks firefox_92, it now gives me more solid reasons to go for old 325iA.
Still need more advise.... anything I have to be aware upon car delivery? And, the sales guy said he can only offer me free carpet. Is there anything else your sales have offered? |

Thanks all for the reply, feels like I'm not alone now!
Firefox_e92, probably I'm too new and PM is not allow. Please mail me at stupid_nam@hotmail.com. ct087ct087, not the built-in carpet, the add-on one. Sales said it costs around 7-8xx. little_croco, did some research, isnt it you can start the engine without put the key into the slot with Comfort Access? Renus, I'd rather not getting gas coupon, as it's even cheaper than use our own gas card. I think I will go for the old 325iA and hope the resell value will not be dropped too significant just b'coz of it's promo price. |

i believe it was a company offering. actually, we can't compare the "gift" as it depends on many factors such as the amount of instalment/insurance (assuming via that sales), season promotion, sales quota/volume, etc.
IMO, just take whatever is useful. If he offered me the carpets, i'd rather take the gas coupon. |
