Thinking about swapping the factory interior lighting for something that shines more white/blue, perhaps LEDs. I have a 2007 e92 coupe. any suggestions?

If you get a chance, I highly recommend checking out our Interior LED upgrades. Especially the recently released ULTIMATE kit that utilizes full replacement housings with LEDs built in...which is an industry first.

wow that looks great! I was really looking for something cheaper and simple to install, something I could just swap out for the factory bulbs

The kit from f1autohaus is definitely simple to install! Straight swap; if you can screw in a lightbulb, you're set. Wait no, there isn't even any screwing! It's definitely worth every penny. I'm still amazed when I see my interior light up

plus, if you get lost, Mike has provided a DIY guide that's easy to follow. I'm sure you could also just PM him at any moment and he'd help you out (he's really good at getting back in a timely manner)
