lighter tint on sedan front windows?
I'd like to drop to 35% on the front glass, and leave the rest at the existing 20%.
will this look lame? |

35/20 here. Looks fine to me since it's not a huge difference.

Not lame at all. I did the same thing on all my prior cars. Stupid jersey makes any tint illegal but its not a points ticket so Im gonna do it anyway. What looks bad is non tinted front windows with the rest tinted

I kinda like the look. In Europe you can spec factory tint on the rear and rear side windows, I've seen quite a few and think it looks good. It's all down to personal preference I guess...

I did 35% all around and then 50% on the windshield. (yes, I need a drop and it'll happen soon)
It looks lighter or darker depending on your distance and angle to the car. Farther away, the tint looks lite. Up close, it looks dark. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I would make it either 35 percent all around or 20 percent all around. I have 20 percent all around now and had 35 percent all around on my ZHP. Both look good. If you're wanting to lighten it up on the front, go ahead and do it on the rear, too. 35 is plenty dark enough to look nice, and personally, I don't think it looks good when it's not uniform.
