Thumbs up Evo tuned by Shiv

I just came across this today on youtube. It's the second American Togue battle. At 12:12 in the video, Shiv is there with a tuned evo. Thought it might be of interest, and I apologize if this content doesn't belong on this forum. Great job on the balance and tune.

lol.. that was a fun day. But highly contested/controversial behinds the scenes. All the other participants were upset that the Skyline was running slicks when everyone specifically was told to come on DOT-approved street tires. The car was actually disqualified by unanimous vote. But the producers, in the last minute, wanted to see it go against the NSX in the final battle so they let it compete.

The previous event was a disaster. We didn't even get to run since the engine on our One Lap of America race car was overheating off the trailer. Turned out the head porting we just had done was too aggressive and cracked a water passage. Next week, the car went to win its class in One Lap of America and 5th overall

even though you didnt get first, creating a 96/100 car according to Tsuchiya is no small feat. Congrats Shiv!

Thanks man. We were actually selected to be in the final battle since the other fast evo blew the engine during qualifying. So to have the producers change the rules last minute was a letdown. Especially for our customer who really wanted to see his car stomp on that NSX

Now we can put a face to the name. All we have to do now is un-mask.... "The Stig".
