Will this gauge pod stick to our dash?

Hey guys trying to get a gauge pod for my SMGS gauge and have been told by many to just get a pod a put it up on the dash near that little vent. There are a ton out there and I will probably get the ATI epod but for now do you think something like this would work and would it stick to our dash?

I had something like this before. I used a 2-sided 3m tape to mount it, but to be honest with you it was not the best solution. In the heat, it started to come off and looked ugly, so I upgraded to the ati epod

OP, I tried that exact pod earlier this year, it stuck but was pretty crappy looking on the dash. I'd shy away.

I was looking at getting one of those pods too, but came up with a pretty nifty bracket instead. No cup needed. HERE

(Scroll down for some pics of the bracket and mounting location)

Screw the pod, do this. It's not ugly from the side, looks great up front, and will save you money on a pod.
