BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept to be shown at ifc 10-12 July 2010

All right guys, mark this down on your calender. BMW's vision efficientdynamic concept will be shown at the ifc mall in Central betwen 10-12th July 2010. I've been reading about this car for months, so it's great to actually have the chance to see it in person.

Well I manage to have a look at it today at the ifc. I have to say it's a pretty cool concept design. It kind of reminds me of BMW's original supercar, the M1 as well as that M1 hommage design. Does anyone else have that impression? If they are going to put this concept into production, as BMW says, will they call it the new M1?

Yup, I agree with you. The body and especially the head lights, are from the first M car, the M1. I doubt it if BMW will put this into production, but I'm pretty sure they gonna apply this concept into future production.

Yeah, if BMW is going to put something similiar into a production car, it probably won't be the exact copy of the concept. More likely, it will involve putting the technology demonstrated in the concept into the new car. Rumours has been going on that BMW will resurrect a new M1, so this concept will go a long way towards that, if BMW does decide to make a new M1.
