10L per 100 on 335xi?
Yes it is possible
My car has 5700kms on it so still breaking in, and driving 80% highway I managed 399.4kms on 39.85 litres of Esso 91 gas. Translation: 10l/100kms. Will likely be able to get to 9.5 once break in is complete and oil is changed again. But then again the fun of this car is not to get great gas mileage..... Thought I would post anyway to show a 335xi Coupe with Dinan does not have to be a total gas hog.

how is 12.5/100km even remotely possible.... i drive 75% city 25% hwy with mainly being light footed, and only some rare spirited driving and i get 14.7 for my first tank and 14.2 for this new tank.
91 chevron used car is 4500km 335i

I'm sure average speed, length of average trip, etc. have a huge impact, but the 335xi seems to get way worse mileage that a straight 335. On pure highway driving - warm weather, summer tires, 100 to 120 kph road trips I can pull low 7s easily (Ottawa to Montreal and back). I've even seen and validated 6.9, but 7.1 to 7.4 is more typical.
I don't do a daily stop and go commute but around the city I average 9-11 with indicated average speeds 50-60kph on a tank. I don't have the sports package - I would expect that the wider tires would suck a couple of tenths extra. |

Really? That's great. Just happen to see so many posts of 12-14l so thought 10 was decent.

ive done around 7.x on long trips as well. i have jb3 though...lean cruise mode
on a daily basis though i do about 70% city and get around 10-10.5L/100km. ive also been using fuel injector fluid and noticed an improvement in consumption. im doing closer to 10.1 consistently now. i dont really baby the car either. |

Will do...I can say that up to 4500-5000 RPM, the car pulls hard and smooth. Not shortage of power. Will update once I change the oil and venture out beyond 4500 RPM's. Very drivable for every day. Torque is incredible.

Can't argue with a tank to tank fill, and hand calculated mileage...computers lie!

Im in 328. I do most of the city drive and i think i used to do around 650 full tank. As soon as i put my csls i dropped to 500. I actually, changed the oil drove 620km. Week later put new wheels, filled up the tank and since then 490-510km on full tank in the city

If you tune, you need to pay to play......mileage will suffer .
