Brake squeel

I had new rear pads installed a year ago. I had a squeel at low speeds and I was told it was the brake pad sensor. I had new pads installed on the front and replaced the brake pads as well. I still am noticing the squeel at low speeds when I accelerate slowly after being stopped.

Does anyone know of this issue or heard of it? I am also getting a squeel when slowly stopping every once in a while.

99% of all brake pad related problem could be solved by bedding in the brake.

So this problem should be the brakes and no other components?

Try bed in the pads and see if problem goes away.

I think I am having the same issue. My squeals come on when I slow the car down to a stop, and this problem is most noticeable when the temperature out there is over 95ish (dry and hot). Yes the squeal is on and off, and yes my pads/rotors are bedded after all installations. I have had aftermarket pads replaced, rotors replaced and even with OEM pads replaced, no luck. I am just gonna live with it and will sell the car once I can't take it anymore.

The noise is annoying, I had a bmw tech drive it and after he replaced the pads and sensor, it squeeled again and he told me its the nature of the beast.

Currently sitting in the BMW dealership... the SA said he noticed it and is gonna try his hardest to replace my pads on the rear because they are at 6mm, and will try and act like its 4mm.

Also, they are running a scope test so lets hope they dont find my PBX...

I will let yall know if the sound comes back or what happens as soon as I drive it away...

I've been reading alot about the issue and it seems like everyone has been getting new pads and brake pad sensors and the problem returns. I tried to bed the brakes and it doesnt work. Anyone want to buy a 330xi? I cant stand driving such a nice car and people staring as you squeel past them.

Dude I am in the same shoes with you. The brake squealing along is enough to make me sell the car and get something else....

^ Oh yeah I have replaced both, from slotted/cross-drilled back to blank rotors (new). Thank god I am dealing with a very responsible seller so my cost is minimum so far.

How many brake pad sensors are on the 330xi? I replaced the one in the drivers side front. is there one on the rear as well? Ive been reading for a week about this squeeling and there seems to be no fix.
