terrific new product!
Some *sshole decided to "modify" my paint with some flat black spray paint. Put a bad word on my hood. I called the cops, and while I was giving the report, the cop told me about this "great spray paint remover" the police use to get paint off their cars...he said they get spray painted all the time. So I went to Home Depot and procured....Motsenbocker's Lift Off #4 (for spray paint) for $7.10.
Tried it on a MF towel on a small spot...worked great. Sprayed the entire hood and got the paint off in about twenty minutes. Then I buffed with Zymol, and Voila! the factory paint looks great. I recommend this stuff, big time.

Bummer about your ride being vandalized, some folks are just a-holes. Good to know that you were able to fix it for cheap. I hope I never have to use it, but if this product works as good as you experienced lot's of folks may be able to benefit from knowing about this stuff.

The best product for that situation is WD-40, very safe for your finish.

Like another posted said further down, WD-40 is pretty nice for at least some things, I didn't know it worked for removing paint though. |
