Day late Dollar short, Need Help ASAP!!

Recently purchased a set of wheels from Iconz, and havnt some serious fitment issues. Im running an M3 offest (19x10) rear wrapped in a 275 tire on my 07 328i coupe. Rolling the fenders aren't enough to keep these puppies from scrapping. The next step is to shave 3mm off the bore as last resort!!!!! I also have the sport suspension which isnt helping lol. I sit on flat ground 1 finger difference from tire to fender. Im wondering if i run a camber kit (Megan Racing) and roll the fenders will it be enough???? I can go all the way to -3 on the rear kit. So far the options given to me are
1)Stretch a 265 or 255 tire
2)Shave rim 3mm
from the local shops. Can somone please chime in with any advice or someone who has experience with camber kit.

ANY HELP WOULD BE MOST APPRICIATED!

Pic 1 is the Top view from fender down, rest are pretty explanitory

whats your offset? Roll your fenders first, if that doesnt work you'll have to run a smaller tire prob a 265/30

It is way too aggressive for your car. Your current tire , KUMHO isn't going to help either since they have the widest width. go with 265 or 255 Toyo T1R or Falken 452. Stretch em' and run more camber. GL.

Wow, those tires are really square. My Falken FK-452s in 275 on a 9.5" don't look that square.

I'd say just go with a stretched tire. 265 or 255/30/19 on a 10" rims should do it. Like csupernova said, get a rounded tire like Toyo or Falken. If that doesn't work, play with camber. I would only shave the wheel as a last resort.

thankx for the input, kumho seemed like best bang for the buck. Had them before and great tires. I would hate to have to buy four new tires, unless i run diff. tires in the rear. ill have to get on tirerack and see what my options are.

Has anyone played with the megan racing camber set??

Even with the odds against me, 10" wheel, and the offset, is a 265 tires with fender roll gonna do it?? What are my odds so Im not blowing money away, and is the camber kit even worth buying?

If you want to be safe .....just go with a 255/30 tire. For 10" (depending on your offsets) wheel on a coupe you would need a rounded tire regardless, so right now you have the worst case scenario going on with your current setup.

275 tire, square tire wall, 10" wheel, and no fender roll.

For cost the easiest way to get it to fit is to first buy the right tires:

Toyo T1-R or Falken FK452 in a 255/30 (you might be able to fit a 265 but why risk it?)

Then roll the rear fenders.....a local shop should have the tool and it shouldnt cost more than $60-$80 for two fenders.

Those two suggestions should give you an extra 30mm clearance alone, and then if you need more go with the camber kit as a last resort...but many people are on the forum with 10" wheels and slammed. If you only have Sport Suspension there is no reason you cant do it.

Sounds good

Im going tomarrow to get the fenders rolled, and im still searching around for tires. I wanted to slam it in the future (next couple months) just trying to get there at this point. Not sure if i want the 265 or 255 yet. I did want to keep some what of the agressive tire look. But it looks like something has got to give.

Can we keep bumping this please untill someone can chime some more thoughts even better if you have tried this..

Sorry, I can't help any more than what the others have said, but it sure looks good! What width did you end up going with in front - wheel & tire? Also, will iconz tell you what the offsets are or are they stamped on the wheels?

If it was me I would send them to a reputable shop or back to Iconz and have them shave 5mm off. Then I would roll the fenders.

All the other patches are going to cost time, money, etc and may still not solve the problem.

Sending them back, I would have to suck up the cost of shipping back and forth not to mention the shaving cost, to be honest that seems like it would take more time. I cant find one that has a lot of reviews for local shops to shave them down.

9 front on a 255 tire. Tires are Kumho SPT. Tires had great rating and around 6-7hundred for four. Cant beat that, i think the tires look great. Other than the fact they dont fit my car lol. I'm in the works of getting the offsets as we speak from the distributor. I am told they are an M3 offset if that helps at all. Thankx for the comment, i have alot to put on this month. In addition to the wheels im ordering CF grill, CF Hood, CF amuse trunk and geting the roof vynyl next week. Def plenty more to come, DUB City car show is in august out here and I'm hoping to be down for the most part to represent for the e92's. lol

...shipping should only be max $120 round trip w/o tires mounted + the actual work being done.

If you start changing tires it will definately be more, wont look great (super stretched tires), and still might not solve the problem.

I know i know..... Just not to thrilled with the distributor at the moment and i would have to ship it to them then they would ship it to cali at the actual manufacter......... to be honest seems like a headache more than it already is. Im one step away from selling them, they only have about 50 miles on them. I'm actually going to put them up for sale as a feeler this week for about 3800 plus shipping. Sounds fair. also including tpms and a couple other additions that were ordered on the wheels.

+1

Whats the cost to mill 3-5mm, Im sure a machine shop could do it for $25-$50 a wheel

Outside of that it looks good.

smaller tire, some camber, and rolled fenders and you would probably be fine.

are you kidding me????? a 255 or 265 will make it WORSE for him. here is a 245 on my 10 inch rim. DO THIS.

what you REALLY need to do, is throw some serious negative camber, and dump that shit hard.

my offsets are pretty aggressive too. you have a great looking car and those rims really look great. let us know what happens.
