Opinions on this 320d

Ok so the car I had my heart set on has fallen through due to outstanding finance and I am due to get my deposit back, gutted!

That was until I just discovered another one!

2005 320d SE, 80k miles, grey, half leather interior, full M sport bodykit with 335d rear and twin exhausts, 19" CSL alloys, lowered, bluetooth, ipod connection, pdc and probably some other stuff I've forgotted.

The guy wants 9,850 for it, I'm going to offer him 9.5k

What do you guys think of this price-wise? I'm kinda tempted!!

Nice how will all those mods affect the insurance though?

I think its over priced in the current market. But its up to one what he would pay for something.

Mods aren't really a problem, I'm with Greenlight who are very modification friendly. My current car is a 330bhp Focus RS with lots of mods and they are all covered

Price wise though, you think it might be a bit dear? The cheapest genuine M Sport I can see is starting from around £12k so I thought that the above seemed reasonable enough as it's not much more than standard SE's are being advertised at..

I've just recently bought a 320d ES with m sport kit, full leather and 19" M5 alloys for £8600. It's done 97,000 and was originally on for £9500. So this should hopefully give you a good comparison.
Good Luck, Miles

Ok Miles thanks, that doesn't really leave my option too far off the money, providing the guy will drop a few hundred quid. It's local anyway so I'll hopefully get a long for a look today and post my findings later!

Bugger that, it's sold!

Found a 2005 genuine M Sport with 74k for £9,800, tempted by that now. Suppose there is no shortage of cars out there anyway!!
