I have a 2008 335i Sedan. Its a base model so it is not Sports Package. Therefore, the suspension is a little higher.

Current tire and wheel size: Front and rear=17" 225 non staggered stock tires.

I like to go to Miro 942 style 19" wheels, staggered.

Front: 235/35/19 Rear: 265/30/19

Is this setup possible? I do have a base model and if I replace it with this 19 set, do I have to worry about rubbing or perhaps the opposite of it, having too much space between wheels and fender since the suspension is not lowered like the Sports model?

Also, can I use my TPMS on the new wheels set?

That set up should work fine. The only missing variable that will determine whether you rub is the wheel offset. You can also use your existing TPMS on the new wheels as long as you're willing to pay the shop to uninstall them from your stock wheels. Might just be easier to buy a second set of TPMS, that's what I did.

Here is the wheels offset information on the 19's.

Front: 35M
Rear: 33M

Of course, I dont know what my stock offset numbers are.
Would it be ok?

As for TPMS, do you suggest that I should just pick up a kit from a place like Tirerack?

The MiRo 942 will work perfectly with your 2008 BMW E90 335i. The setup that is recommended is the 19x8.5 ET35 with a 235/35/19 in the front and 19x9.5 ET33 with a 265/30/19 in the rear. You can choose to either swap the TPMS sensors from your existing wheel setup to your new wheel setup, or purchase a new set to save you the trouble. Thanks for your feedback Alan. Just trying to make sure that the car doesnt look awkward since it is the base model. Do you think I can pickup the TPMS from tirerack?

You can purchase TPMS from virtually any shop. What it comes down to is how much you're willing to spend. For example, the TPMS sensors that we carry are the OEM TPMS sensors that BMW includes with all of their wheels straight from the factory in Germany. A lot of other TPMS sensors out there are generic and are made in China. The MiRo 942 / TPMS is in-stock so shoot me over an email and I'll get you a great deal on the setup.

Why do you need/want TPMS? The TPMS is fairly useless on the BMW, doesn't even give you the actual pressures per tire. You don't need it and its a waste of money.

cb4- I want to get it mainly because I dont want that annoying light on my panel. Of course the alternative would be to just turn it off so it wont come on but when I sell the car in the future, it could be a problem with future buyer. But I hear you about spending the money that is kind of useless.

You'll want to run the following fitment to ensure perfect fitment with no rubbing:

19x8.5 ET35 (Front) and 19x9.5 ET33 (Rear)


And yes, TPMS will transfer over to these wheels with no issues!

That is a very nice looking picture, the only thing that concerns me is that the one on your picture appears to be a Sports Package and therefore, lower suspension. I am not sure if mine would look like that as well.
