What should I replace my sidemarkers with? Pic inside

I just recently picked up my 2006 330i.

The sidemarkers looks a little yellowed and in general look a little dated.

I am looking to replace them;

1) do the OEM sidemarkers look nice and clear when they are new, or do they start out with a yellow tinge to them?

2) is there an aftermarket upgrade that still retains a very OEM-like look?

I would love to see pictures of what others have done.

here are some pictures of the car in its current used OEM state (please forgive the old generation iphone pic quality);

^ Turns out my car has so much grip and downforce it can run upside down...

will this make the entire housing look brighter?

I have a feeling its my actual housing lens that is weathered and yellowed.

There are all sorts or polishes available to remove most (if not all) of that yellowing.

Take a few applications and I wouldn't advise buying a headlight kit (ie: one of the mothers headlight kits or similar) as it would just be too big.

Get some polish, and 20 minutes of your time, and you'll be happy with the results - and save money too.

(FWIW, there are soo many different kits, so just check to see what's available at your local auto parts stores... http://www.google.ca/images?um=1&hl=...=&oq=&gs_rfai= )

You can replace the sidemarkers with our LED sidemarkers in clear or smoked.

Here they are in smoked:

the install process should take about 10 minutes at the maximum for a beginner, the new types are fully plug and play now with no wire splicing like before

PM or post a price shipped to 12065 if you can.

What sort of fitment issues have people had (this concerns me a little)?

Any pics of the clear ones?

I ordered a pair from of smoked LED sidemarkers from Bimmian. I too had some fitment issues, where the unit would not sit flush with the fender. I'm assuming that maybe a few minutes with Mr. Dremel Tool would help. Sucks because I ended up cracking one of the lenses trying to get it out of the fender.

Do the plug and play LEDs cause errors?

Looks like it (I could be wrong).

But is there a non-smoked version?

Can you explain why they don't sit flush? When you say you want to take a Dremel to them what would you need to do to make them fit? I just got the ones from Bimmian but haven't put them on yet because my car is in the shop.
