E93 pre-ordering/pricing/delivery dates

I am in Manhattan. They are asking $1000 refundable deposit, MSRP pricing for May-June delivery.

Anyone knows if other out of state dealers may offer a sooner date? I see no point in getting a convertible in the middle of the summer paying MSRP for a car they will run lease specials 6 month later.

Can price be negotiated on pre-orders?

You will not find a lot of negotiation on a brand new model. Why don't you try European Delivery?
