The order is in.... now the waiting begins....
Well, I finally figured out what I wanted and placed the order. As you see from the sig, I got pretty much everything except active steering and adaptive cruise. I was a little on the fence about the step, but I ended up sticking with a manual. The step was very, very nice though.... just not really for me. I've never actually seen a Terra with Aluminum in person, but I have gray now and didn't want that again.... I don't really like the beige... and I had black leather before and it got too hot so I didn't want it again. I think the Terra will be a nice change of pace and will look kinda sporty and luxurious at the same time.
Thanks to everybody on the forum... lots of good info on here. Now the waiting begins.... hopefully the holidays don't slow things down too much... hopefully I'm looking at a delivery around the end of Feb. |

Naw, went with Hendrick in Charlotte. They gave me a deal that Leith and Performance couldn't come close to. I emailed pretty much all the dealers in the state and Hendrick had the best price by far.
And yeah, the color combo should be pretty unique that's fer sher. I think it'll look good..... I sure hope so. Guess I'll find out in about 8 weeks. Quote:

Question: I ordered mine on 12/15 when do you think it will get here? The dealer said sometime around the middle of February. Does that sound about accurate?
To get your car mid Feb it will need to be a week 2 build (jan 7-14) your dealer can tell you which week your car is slotted. |

And yeah, mine still says "scheduled for production with no confirmed production date" too. Does anybody else call the 1-800 # like 4 times a day or is it just me? |

Congrats, bro!
I also ordered mine yesterday. The dealership said I will have it the 2nd or 4th week of Feb. I'm just wondering how long it takes for the car to get moved from 'on order' to 'production'? |

I ordered mine on October 9th..
Called the 800 number yesterday, and they say it left the paint shop and is now on the assembly line. And should be completed by next week. Originally I was told I would have the car by the end of November, but now it's looking like the beginning of February. Smalldog |

On order too!
I ordered my 328i on December 13th. My dealer quoted about 6 weeks for delivery. Which would bring it in around the 26th of January. I'm not going to hold my breath. After reading several posts, I see any where between 5 and 8 weeks. My son ordered an '06 325i and his took just short of 6 weeks from order to delivery.

The question is: How long before you get built is a confirmed production date issued? 1 week? 3 weeks? I was told that I would have a January build after ordering on November 21. Hell, I've got the 800# on speed dial and memorized my Prod. Order # weeks ago. I'm like a 3 year old over here! |

I checked the 800 number again today, and it says on it's way to port of exit. That was the automated system, not a real live person. I checked for transport ships heading to the west coast from Bremerhaven, and I get 3 hits right now: Alioth Leader departing 1/3 arriving 1/27 Tristan departing 1/6 arriving 1/29 Carmen departing 1/26 arriving 2/19 If I call my CA toward the end of next week, will he be able to tell me exactly what ship I am on, provided it's on either of the first two? I am hoping I can take delivery by 2/9 as I am on vacation in Cozumel, Mexico for the rest of February after that.. Smalldog |

congrats on the order. you won't be disappointed. the 335 is such a great vehicle. The more pics I see of the Terra/Alum combo the more I like it. For financial reasons, I stuck with the -ette on mine, but if I had to do it over again I would l definitely get that combo. Enjoy.
