JB3 2.0 (7/4) 18 ohm + CMGS Meth + UR ***less DPs, OMG
So happy I had to create a thread and use OMG in the title!
I was one of the first JB3 2.0 beta testers and I have been stoked with the progressive improvement of each round of firmware. After my DPs were installed two days ago and I got the bugs ironed out, I can't even begin to describe the power and the sound. Map 8, Map 9, WOT for 1.5 days, no codes, no DP fix installed, smooth as a babies ass, and throttle response that literally scares people on the road. I am so happy with my car right now that I feel like I did on the first day with the JB+, the JB3 1.4, and the JB3 2.0. Freaking stoked like a little boy at Christmas! All I can say is that if you are not running the JB3 2.0, do it now. If you are not spraying meth, do it now. If you are on the fence about DPs, do it now! I can't even imagine what Rob Beck's turbos feel like (hate you LM). I think if I go them, divorce would soon follow, because I would never be home....I'd be out with my girlfriend (the car) instead.

Thanks Marcus, Shane was awesome (EuroAutoSpot, San Diego) with the DP install and wideband placement. Arguably the best indy euro shop here.

Generally I run 15-16 psi max as a daily driver with 91 octane and methanol. For safety, I map switch from a lower (13 psi max) map to a higher boost (16 psi) methanol map using the CMGS controller flow sensor output hard-wired to the JB3. Map switching occurs only when 200 ml/min (minimum) meth flows by an 11 psi trigger point. I start injecting at 9 psi using a CM10 nozzle. At the track I run 100 octane fuel and methanol with 17 psi of boost max.

You make it sound like it's a bad thing. Your car must be really fast now; also this means that you are going to keep the car right? Too bad I can't make it this friday. Good luck and be safe guys.

Yeah, I put 2 clamps on each end (and an extra one in the trunk just in case); next time I'll try to make it.
