I have a 335xi, basically same car with same engine and tranny, but I weight a few hundreds pounds less. I had the Procede for 9 months now, and its been nothing but good things. Launch control is great with the extra traction in our awd cars. Perfect in this NYC weather as well as it autotunes itself to the desire settings. Read the link above and then read on what the JB3 can do, and you'll decide for yourself whose the best tune for the N54.

MRbig, do you research, before you jump to either the JB3 or PROcede...
JB3, cheaper and has good power gains, but on some applications, that power has been inconsistent. As long as you run one of the lower maps, you might not need to worry about throwing any codes, but it would be recommended that you get a BT Tool. PROcede, more expensive, but has a wealth of tools that are all built into one package, no need for a BT tool. O2 sims are built in to the PROcede, so if you decided to go catless (DP)'s you don't need to buy O2 sims. Every update is free (firmware and maps), and the PROcede is the only tune that tunes itself (autotune) MY advice, buy both tunes, and try them out, whichever one is more your style, you keep, and the other you return (or your friend tries and returns)

As I have looked around, seems like Shiv and PROcede users tend to intelligently quantify their results-a thinking man's tune. Seems like JB3 does the job, but please listen to more intelligent reviews that can back up the argument (whether it be JB3 or PROcede) and allow you to determine what's best for you.
