Vanguard exhaust on e90

Has anyone tried it? If so can you post up some pictures, I want to see if the exhaust sticks out really far.

My buddy (e92merdered) has the vangaurd on his e92. It sits prefect. The tips are flush with the cut out and tucked nice. Much better fitment than my BMW PE that sticks out and sits a little lower.

If i went with another exhaust beside the PE, it would have been the Vangaurd.

Ok, sounds nice, hopefully it will look that good on the e90. I'm still trying to decide if I should get exhaust now though due to the minimal gains.

remember the vanguard fit the e92 "perfectly". for the e90 the tips will stick out more so you need to adjust that for perfect fit.
Bomis has e90 (forgot about this..) and he had his shop shorten the tailpipes.

You can adjust them without cutting?

its hard to find an exhaust that has a quality sound that can overpower the sound of turbos

Well acctually I'd still like to hear my turbos, I love the sound. But I'm guessing the exhaust will overpower the sound

Yea I'm really excited for vanguard, but top speed is so cheap! I plan on getting ar catless dp's too. And If I got top speed I could get both at the same time. But the vanguard system is just so awesome I might wait.

I personally have seen a Vanguard on an e90 and the fitment is terrible. The tips stick out too far and they aren't centered evenly with the cutouts. Also the sound was awefull. The owner told me it drones badly on the highway on a 6MT. These are just my personal observation and the owner's feedback. He was swapping it out for a AE system. Hope that helps bro.

Not touching the side of the cutout but was off enough that's noticeable

Geeze! This place is filled with such inept opinions and ridiculous conclusions on here.

On fitment- If they're not lining up right, then the installer is a dipshit. Period.

re: Topspeed, look to those who have it for advice. I got it....absolutely hate the ricey sound, experimented with it and finally got the quality AMS exhaust that I should've gotten the first time around.

"If you buy the quality product up front, you'll only cry once"

OP: A little Advice- You'll learn a lot more if you just search around the forum instead of posting so much....many of your questions are just silly.
