Integrated Boost Gauge vs JB3

Question on the Integrated boost gauge. I was recently looking into getting either the JB3 or Procede V4. I decided to try out the V4. What I noticed though when I was looking at this product is that its always associated with JB3 and people with JB+ want to know if it will work for them. My question is will this boost gauge work with the Procede V4? thanks!

By integrated boost gauge, do you mean the P3/Rixster gauge? If so, yes it will work with v4 and every other tune. The only features that won't be active are the mapswitching features since the Procede uses a button on the dashboard for that. Good gauge!

It's a high resolution boost gauge that does all the thinks that a good electronic boost gauge should do (self calibration, peak/hold, etc). It doesn't make you a chai latte however.

Good I dont like chai lattes anyway , so the whole calibration feature, does that mean it would make the turbos perform better? Or just tell me how theyre performing?

Basically, it shows boost. There's not much more to a boost gauge that that. The self calibration I was talking about was how the gauge calibrates itself to absolute pressure. Nothing to do with how your car drives. For more info, definitely PM Rixst3r.

Yeah I thought that's all it did. So it basically shows the performance of the boost and looks sick?

You get:

-Actual manifold boost (the best way to measure boost)
-Manifold vacuum readings (negative numbers)
-Peak recall (press the button to show your peak number since the last press)
-Bargraph (quickly visually see your boost and vacuum, simulates being able to glance at an analog gauge)
-Perfect match to interior lighting
-Automatic Dimmer for day/night
-Fully plug and play with no permanent modifications
-Many options for controlling the gauge display
-Lockout mode
-Ambient calibration for accuracy
-wow's your friends and your bmw dealer... looks OEM.

Works with all tunes and even stock cars... more info at www.p3cars.com

Procede and rixster gauge are both amazing products. I have had both of mine for awhile now and couldn't be happier.

The P3 vent gauge is really top notch. BMS has also added full compatibility with the JB3 so you can just setup whatever maps you want to enable with the gauge.
