Help smog test
I got a 2002 BMW 325i and when to smog it and it fail on the MIL/Check engine light. I need to register the car soon so if you can tell me how to fix the problem ill appreciated.

Fix whatever is causing the CEL.

DMV doesnt take registration payments in person anymore. And the smog pass certification is all electronic.
