[Vancouver E90 Tech night!!!]
Anyone what to know a bit more about their car?
Not sure what the underside of your car look like? Want to talk to a down-to-earth Technician who is willing to answer your questions without charging you? Brian Jessel Autohaus is offering a BMW Tech night for all E90post members and BMW owners! Depending on how many are interested, we'll set up a day for you guys and do the following: 1) Tour of the facility 2) Introduce you to the Technicians 3) Lift up some of your vehicle 4) Look at some interesting aspects of E90,E92 5) Demonstrate certain methods of repair and maintenance UPDATE Tentative schedule and itinerary for the E90 Tech Night! DATE: Thursday August 5th, 6:30 or 7pm Start DURATION: As it is an introductory night, 40min to 1hour. Plus it is a weekday ITINERARY: 1. Meet & Greet everyone, Provide Coffee/Water and Doughnuts. 2. Introduce our Technician, Jason Lee. 3. We will "dissect" a 2011 335is to learn about its features and compare it with a 335i. 4. We will lift one of your guys vehicle, examine the underside and weigh it on our corner balance machine. Also may discuss possible remedies to mechanical problems. 5. If available, show and discuss the engineering marvel of a S85 V10 pulled out of a M5. 6. Have a raffle draw/door prize to finish the night! Prize is TBD (might be a spa package, might be a Dinan goodie... ) 7. All of you can go for a cruise after! Last edited by kyo21; 07-24-2010 at 10:16 PM.. |

I'm not sure who organizes the 604 e90post meets but it would be ideal for you guys to merge your meet with tech night at Autohaus first, and go for a cruise after.
A win-win! |

Imagine the fantastic drive through the Rocky Mountains to arrive in Beautiful British Columbia! Since you'll have 10000000 bugs splattered over your car, we'll give you a complimentary spa package I will plan a date and itinerary for everyone by Friday! Also feel free to suggest any ideas (what you want to know/discuss etc)! Thanks! Last edited by kyo21; 07-20-2010 at 04:18 PM.. |

Wow. This is such a good idea. A very commendable thing you guys are doing at Brian Jessel Autohaus. I would love to come as well. As for time, preferably after work. It's still good for all BMW owners right? :P

Although primarily we are going to focus on 3-series, I will try to budget some time for 5-series as well. |

Hey guys,
After a long meeting, we have set a tentative schedule and itinerary for the E90 Tech Night! Now this is just tentative, so if you have any suggestion (availability, ideas etc) please contact me to work things out! Thanks! Last edited by kyo21; 07-24-2010 at 01:44 AM.. |

Very nice! Thursday night sounds good to me.
Very interested in learning about the new M5 engine but will still sorely miss the orgasmic f1-esque sound of the v12s. |
