Competition Gold on Pl Br
Hey guys
I have been so stuck on what color wheels to get on my because i have a platinum bronze coupe. I think i definately want either v710 or vb3 by vmr and have been think of competition gold. Do u guys think that it would look good. It would be great if anyone can photoshop something for me. If that doesnt look good, i'll probably go for the matte black look (I dont like the silver look on wheels at all). So what do u guys think? Thanks

man i have the same problem ahahh platnium bronze coupe, i did some minor mods and i think matte black goes well with the color of the car. i was gonna get 710s with mb finish or m6 reps but i am still deciding wether i want 19's or 18's. The color makes it challanging to mod the car.

Gold will look weird unless you have a very aggressive stance to hold it. Black would be the way to go between the 2.
My personal option would be a Gunmetal/Graphite in a VB3, 19x9.5 fronts with 19x10 et38 rears on your e92. thats a sick fitment and pretty aggressive while still being manageable for everyday. Let me know if you need any help on a set up |

Probably not much help here. I had a chance to pick up a set of wheels that were charcoal finish. I believe they were matte. I never had a chance to see them on the car but I thought they would look great and very aggressive. They didn't come in 18" and I didn't want to go 19.
I ended up getting BBS CHs. Silver looks fine to me. Jay

Thanx Craven! i agree on the agressiveness i thought about that but nyc roads are so bad i am scared to run into problems in 19's but i feel like 18's aren't agressive enough. i am not planning to lower my car or do any fender rolling so i will probably go with 18's.

With a et38 rear, it should clear with a 265/30/19 tire, and you can run an 8.5" rim up front instead of a 9.5:.
but you can always run the 8.5" front and 9.5" rear and no fender rolling is required |

I think Silver is a good choice for that color. It will bring out the color of the car as well as the wheels. Darker colors don't seem to work too well.
if you do end up going with Gold; I think a shinier Gold shade is the way to go

i think i might just go with m6 reps 18's, i feel like the color doesnt match the car. its such a sporty car but the color tries to make it classy. i thought about trying to push it to the sporty side with matte wheels and some tint but i dont think it will turn out well. but with m6 reps i think it gives it a neutral look.
