Weisslicht Angel Eyes E92 Error

I installed my Weisslicht Angel Eye Upgrade. Looks amazing, but yellow error code with a picture of a headlight on the dash. I don't understand, I thought it was error-free. I searched the forums and found a few others with the same issue, did anybody figure out how to fix this?

if you have early built 07 you will get errors, same as RD, lux8
thats why i just go with cheap GP thunders/mtec.
and i heard alex@apline fixed the error on 07s so his HID kit is TURE error free too.
also OSS will not throw errors if you have money to spend.

I have an 11/06 build E92 and only got errors with the first version of RD LED's. I currently run Lux H8's with ZERO errors.

Early 2007 + AIB with an abundance of intermittent error codes. Seems like a crap shoot weather it works with the early 07s from what I've seen- I think I'm just one of the few unlucky ones. Going OSS in a few weeks

They shouldn't be throwing errors at all, you may have a defective unit. Who'd you buy it from?

Bimmian. I turned the car on just now and no error codes on auto mode with the light shining green where the switch is. Drive for 5 min and the green light goes off and the error code comes back. So weird. I'll bet any money as soon as it's dark outside, there won't be any error code.

Pre-production AiB units (over 1.5 years ago) were based off an early build 07 in order to verify they would be error free before releasing to market.

We have never seen an error on any e92 model from 2007-2011 to this day, feel free to drop by and we can verify this in person.

Weisslicht is a simple upgrade which replaces the stock halogen H8 bulb. OSS replaces the entire BMW angel system as it will be much brighter during daytime and night:

How much are the OSS and did he paint the side of the light black?

And I was right. As soon as it went dark and the xenons kicked in the error code went away. WTF?

Well I'm getting an error with daytime lights and no error with the nightlights.

Hey e92 how did you do the side of headlights black? Wad it tinted/overlay or paint?

Well, I certainly had plenty of them, and even after your tech checked it out– so it had to be product related and not some install error by me. I've also seen other posts from people on here with AiB errors, so I don't think it's entirely fair to say this is a completely isolated incident. You also told me you cleared all of the headlight errors in the ECU, so you've definitely seen the error codes on an e92 between 2007-2011– maybe just not in action.

But unfortunately, that was my one time to come out there with my work schedule so I've already sent them back with a pending refund, sorry. I really do appreciate all the customer support you guys have done for me though, definitely will have me coming back to EAS for other purchases.

The errors were due to a loose connection on the DriverPack, this was explained as well.

Hope to see you back soon!

So, Steve at Bimmian called me up. Said it could be a faulty ballast or some sort of defect. Should get the problem fixed within a few days. Great customer service!

Thank you Steve!
