First detail on e90 335

Today was my first real detail on my new 335. Of course, I am cheating because TiAg is so easy. I washed with QEW (Quick and Easy Wash) and then clayed with Meguiar's professional line clay. I then applied Klasse AIO. Since I could detect no marring I didn't bother to polish. Finally I used Poorboy's EX with carnuba to finish it off. I used AIO followed by Klasse SG on my wheels.

I'm a huge fan of Kasse AIO. I have also used Klasse SG quite a bit but find it somewhat difficult to remove. The Poorboys is easy to wipe off as is Wolfgang and others. I probably will start adding wax such as P21s or Pinnacle Souvereign past wax for the next couple of months.

THERE IS NO CURE!

I gotta a question for you dawgdog. I was in Seattle over the summer and let me tell you, the roads there were horrible. At the time all I had was the sport suspension (I have 19" rims now) and I couldnt tolerate driving on the roads there. If I remember clearly, I think it was I-5 that was being tore up and I swore that I was going to trade in my car if I ever moved there. Anyway, being from Seattle, how do you tolerate it?? I mean I felt every nick in the road and with your tire set up it's probably worse for you.

The roads are worse now after record rainfall in November. There is a stretch of I5 that is rough as hell. We own a second home on Whidbey island and there are lots of twisty roads there that are fun to drive. As far as my daily driving goes, I commute 1 1/2 miles to my work three days a week so it is not much of an issue. I have heard that the roads are even worse in the midwest. My 19" PS2s are roughly equivalent to the 18" runflats vis a vis comfort issues.
