This is why integration of an aftermarket wideband is king. |

A nice thing with the Procede's AFR monitoring is that both cylinder banks are monitored, which will facilitate a good safety feature for N2O. |

As far as I heard, the JB4 will allow an aftermarket wideband to be logged. That is what I would prefer as I feel it is the only reliable way to monitor AFR. Do we know of anyone in the procede camp that has an aftermarket wideband to test this against? Last edited by Former_Boosted_IS; 07-26-2010 at 09:12 AM.. |

Ahhh, so you have logged both? Do you have logs you can post of both in the same RPM band. That would be good to see. If indeed they are identical, then this is a very good feature!

The Autometer gauge is not installed in the car, I borrowed it from my bike for this test. The gauge has been checked to be dead on with the AFR instrument at a reputed dyno center. BTW, the bike produce 183 whp |

When you are talking about small fractions of a second to protect you for things like nitrous, I am sure you can understand my curiousity.
Do you have logs you can post or just CSV data? I am very curious about this obviously as it would make things a lot easier. |

I understand your curiosity and know you have a professional solution in your car.
I posted the log in the first post. If I had know the outcome would have been debated I could have taken a video of the Procede user menu screen and the Autometer gauge at the same time. But you can take my word for what I'm saying. I was curious myself, hence I did the compare. If you PM me your email I can send you the csv data if you don't make the file public or comment the data in publicity. It reveals too much of the cars status in front of upcoming events. Edit, I checked the csv file and the sampling rate is about 30 times per second. I think this is what Shiv has already said. Last edited by R1000K3; 07-26-2010 at 10:18 AM.. |

I am not so much curious in the sample rate, but how the correction factor operates under certain conditions. If this was simply an informative log, then who cares, but with nitrous you absolutely need an accurate reading. |

Where is the AFR?
I'm looking for Air to Fuel Ratio.
