Trade e90 Black Sport Seats for non-sport seats.

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I would like to trade my 100% condition black power sport seats from my 2007 e90 ZSP for black non-sport seats. I don't really care whether the non-sports are power or not. They do need to be black. I am located in the Austin Texas area. Please respond if interested. Thanks,.

Hi,

Are your seats heated? I'd love to do this (I have non-ZSP black, heated, power seats) but I'm in NY.

Not sure exactly how expensive shipping will be, but I'd be willing to go without my car for a week (when you'd receive my seats and swap them in, then ship yours out) if you cover shipping both ways.

My e-mail is yakev724@gmail.com; you'd obviously have to have a paypal-verified address + account to do this.

Let me know,
Genya Y.

^ Yeah, I don't think it works like that. So you're asking the OP to swap his sports seats for your non-sports seats AND he has to cover shipping both ways?? Lol.

First off, I'm under the impression that the OP is willing to swap his ZSP seats for non-sport free of charge, otherwise I'd expect him to ask for cash. I've seen the swap on even terms in a few other threads...

...since shipping is required, one (or both) of us will be without seats (and thus a car) for up to a week, depending on how long shipping takes. I've volunteered to be that person and ship my seats out so the OP can do the swap when he receives them and THEN ship his seats to me, having no downtime with his car, whereas I will have to wait for shipping 2x ways.

I assume ground shipping to be in the $80-100 range one way, where I feel this is a fair deal (OP will pay extra $80-100 to avoid shipping time downtime without his car).

In either case, OP, you can't PM so just send me an e-mail if you're willing to ship and to let me know if they're heated (not interested in non-heated seats). If you don't want to ship, GLWT.

...and sorry if you're a she

Yakev:

I'd be happy to swap with you, if we each cover shipping for our own seats. My seats are unheated. I live in Texas, though, so it's not an issue here, lmfao. If you very, very, carefully remove your heating elements, you should be able to pop them in these with no real issues. Just make sure you don't screw up your seats, heh :P

Seem fair?

Let me know!

Oh nevermind. I noticed you weren't interested in non-heated seats. It only takes about 30 mins per seat to retrofit the elements. You take off the skins, affix the elements, then clip the skins back on. I understand though.

Ok, who else?

I'm interested....I'll even pay for shipping both ways....but I can't have any downtime, so i would need you to ship the seats to me first.

I can paypal you the shipping fees, you ship them - when I get them - do the swap and then ship them back to you.

Kol, I can do it this way, as soon as my truck gets out of the shop for transmission work (so I have something to drive, lol). That should take a week or so. The only question I have, and one that I didn't think about before, is how on earth do we certify each other, lol? Replacement cost on these are craaazy

From what I can tell, assuming USPS accepts the size (it will be close), it works out to be about $100 US per seat one way.
